Kitchen - Tigne Point
I was approached by a client to design a modern high-end kitchen. For this project I chose to use etched glass doors in a duo colour combination of slate grey and red, accompanied by sleek chrome handles and the use of Vanilla Corian® for the work top.
The use of the colour Vanilla gave a warm feeling to this otherwise modern kitchen. The Corian® was used in such a way as to flow continuously creating the sink and protrudes to create a breakfast bench when dining casually. Having stools on both sides of the breakfast bench made it possible to increase seating options allowing the possibility of having four diners contemporarily.
Corian® was also used to act as a continuous seamless splash back, running all the way till behind the hood. This hood also has a slate grey glass insert to compliment the combination of colours. The result was a modern practical kitchen with a warm yet edgy feel to it.
