About Vera Sant FournierDesign should never say, “Look at me.” It should always say, “Look at this.”

Vera Sant FournierVera Sant Fournier was born on the 3rd of June 1984 in Gozo, to a Italo-Maltese father and a Maltese mother. She is named after her paternal grandmother Vera néVallone who was a fine artist in the picturesque island of Capri in Southern Italy. Her paternal family background is art orientated; with her father being an art connoisseur it was only certain that Vera would eventually follow in his footsteps.

She frequently accompanied him from a very young age to visit clients and other important people in local art scene. This gave Vera an hands-on introduction to the world of all that encompasses art and design. Her father, Carlo, passed on to her a great passion for all that is artistic; from the fine arts and antiques to frame making, architecture as well as furniture.

As Vera grew older, her main interest in studies laid in History & Art whilst studying at St.Martin's College.  At the age of 16 she proceeded in working alongside her father in the family run Art gallery. A couple of years later she followed her passion and furthered her studies in Art & Design at the Malta College of Art, Science & Technology where she obtained further education and direct experience in the elements of Wood, Stone, Jewellery, Paper, History of Art, Ceramics, and the Fine Arts. Trips to Paris, London, Prague, Portugal, Sweden, Milan and New York, to mention a few, exposed Vera to a broader vision of style and design.

With an objective and a clear goal in her mind and heart, Vera pursued her dream of establishing her career around all that is beautiful and artistic. She began working as a Sales and Design Consultant with one of Malta's leaders in the furniture industry; there she learnt that she had a natural flair and that people trusted her instincts. She has also been described as efficient, meticulous and flexible allowing her to transform abstract thoughts into personalised realities through her capable and innovative approach to interior design.

Feeling the need to delve deeper into the realm of interior design, Vera chose to resign from her current post and take a plunge into her own world. Nowadays, Vera Sant Fournier runs her own studio where she creates her work for her clients by bringing together teams of talented craftsmen for projects accordingly, and creating visuals to help people achieve a pictorial representation of a thought or an idea.. Vera believes that one should never stop learning what the world has to offer, and is currently furthering more studies in Interior Design.

Testimonials What our clients have to say

'Vera designed our dream kitchen last year. My wife & I are really happy with the color scheme she suggested, the layout & style. She also has that very friendly and polite attitude with clients, I must say that every meeting with her was FUN, rather than a 'usual meeting with other designers'.Vera also designed our dinning area, and the complete room came simply amazing. Each person who enters the house lays their eyes immediately on the kitchen, and they usually end up taking pictures for some ideas of their own. We hope we'll sit down for more business some day!'
